ABOUT THE JOB

Gunzilla Games is looking for a Metagame Programmer, who will design and develop metagame features for our game OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Extraction Battle Royale shooter, currently available as Early Access on PlayStation®5, Xbox® Series X|S, and PC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop Metagame features’ such as a shop, inventory, player statistics & progression, etc. from the backend to UI
  • Work closely with game & UI/UX designers to iterate core player engagement & experience systems

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years professional experience & knowledge C++
  • Familiarity with Design patterns (Observer especially), Data-Oriented design, and SOLID/GRASP principles
  • Understanding of Algorithms & data structures
  • Knowledge of Cloud database, dedicated server and understanding client relationship
  • Understanding of CPU’s fundamental

PLUSES

  • Experience of C# azure development
  • Experience with Playfab, Gamelift or other similar third-party backend solutions
  • Understanding of JS/TS concepts
  • Experience with UE (3,4) or similar game engine
